Mark R. Kramer is Co-Founder (with Professor Michael E. Porter of Harvard Business School) and Managing Director of FSG Social Impact Advisors, a sixty-person nonprofit consulting firm focused on philanthropic strategy, evaluation, and corporate social responsibility with offices in Boston, San Francisco, Seattle, and Geneva. Mr. Kramer is also the Founder of the Center for Effective Philanthropy, and a Senior Fellow at Harvard¹s Kennedy School of Government.
Mr. Kramer has published widely on social sector strategy and evaluation, and is a co-author with Professor Porter of three influential Harvard Business Review articles on philanthropy and corporate responsibility.
Previously, Mr. Kramer was a venture capital investor, and he holds degrees from Brandeis University, The Wharton School, and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
